Choose a MT4 broker that suits your needs
This is naturally completely up to you depending on what you prefer to trade. All the MT4 brokers have of course a lot of forex to offer. But then there are huge differences in what else they offer. Some have only Oil and Gold. Others do have the most important indices. And yet others also offer stocks and commodity futures. It is very difficult for me to recommend you the perfect broker since as I mentioned they all have different pros and cons and the best thing you can do is to compare for yourself. I do believe that is an advantage if the broker you are considering is regulated by authorities in countries which you trust.
However I can tell you that the MT4 broker I use for my own Pair trading is IG at www.ig.com. In my opinion they are definitely one of the most trustworthy brokers on the market. IG is listed on the London Stock Exchange, regulated in the UK and very profitable.
Get a VPS
If you are serious with your Pairtrading as I am you definitely want to have a VPS to have your EA running all open market hours, This way you will be able to catch possible interesting moves. I can not say for sure in all markets but I as an IG customer am getting the VPS hosting for free as long as I keep at least appr 5000 EUR in my MT4 account.
